Print on Demand: Improving Social Media Engagement
Social media has grown from being an easy and fun way to stay in touch with people to become a lucrative and highly-rewarding method of advertising a brand. Once you have established your brand and gained a number of followers, a difficult task in itself, the really hard work is only just beginning. With so many distractions online, it's not easy to keep your followers engaged.
In this edition of the Pivotal Prints blog, we'll be looking at some ways to help ensure your followers stay engaged with your print on demand operation.
One thing that is absolutely key is to have a presence right across social media. Though most people have a number of social media accounts on different platforms, many prefer a specific one whether that is Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter or one of several others.
You also need to make sure that you are posting regularly, every day if possible. That said, it is certainly not advisable to keep posting the same thing time after time: your content should always be new, fresh and relevant. Bear in mind that one of the best way to get new followers is to encourage your current followers to share your content and they definitely won't be doing this if it is repetitive and boring.
Experiment with the time that you post as the importance of this factor is often underestimated. Try posting at different times of the day and be sure to track the level of engagement that results. If and when you notice patterns, use these to inform when you make posts in the future.
While you can always try starting new conversations and topics, it can be hugely beneficial to 'piggyback' on topics and conversations that are already trending, whether they relate to recent news, upcoming events, new fashions or indeed anything else. Think about how your brand and/or products relate to such topics and capitalise on their popularity.
The internet is a very visual arena so you need to make sure that your posts are attractive and pleasing to the eye. Social media is also a very crowded place so your posts should be immediately eye-catching to help them stand out from the rest as users infinitely scroll.
It's a great idea to try and make connections with influencers who, as their name suggests, have huge influence over what their followers buy and engage with. Reach out to influencers in the fashion arena and, when you have made meaningful connections with them, include them in your posts.
These are just some of the ways that you can improve customer engagement via social media. Once your followers purchase products from you that have been made by Pivotal Prints, they will love the quality and will thus form a lasting loyalty with your brand.
